-- My sandwich tastes funny. It's Healthy Choice honey roasted chicken breast on pumpernickel rye with pepper jack and american cheese. The meat I've never tried before, and everything else on the sandwich is at least three weeks old. Also, it sat in the refridgerator wrapped in wax paper and a ziploc bag all day yesterday and overnight. Any or all of these factors could be the cause of the odd taste. I'm eating it anyway.

-- My brothers and I seem to have an inability to visit one another without absconding with whatever cool stuff we can lay our hands on. Mike came by to visit last Wednesday and he left with whichever of my Easy Rawlins books he hadn't already absconded with and a few back issues of Wizard. I got off light, considering that when I went to see Sam on Sunday afternoon I ganked his PS2 and a demo disc for God of War, which incidentally is fucking awesome.

-- I finally got Comcast customer service on the horn last night and they seem to be of the opinion that the problem with my internet service is that my modem needs to be replaced. I have my doubts, but I'll give it a shot. It's as good a place to start as any, I guess. If it doesn't work, we'll move on to something else.

-- It was almost four by the time I finally got to sleep last night. I was going to do some laundry tonight, but it can wait. I have plenty of clean clothes. I think I'm just gonna watch Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars and see if I can maybe beat that God of War demo and then go to bed.

-- You know, if you actually pay attention to the lyrics to 'Don't Stop Me Now', which I never really had before, it's hard to believe Freddy Mercury was ever in the closet.
