From wolfeskitchen, How deep should I plant my herbs?

I was able to find lots of information about where you should plant your herb garden (in a plot where they can get as much sun as possible) and what kind of soil to plant your herbs in (in loose, rich soil with good drainage. If possible, loosen the soil to a depth of 8 to 12 inches and amend with compost before planting.), but I wasn't able to find any information about planting depth. Stick 'em an inch and a half down and hope for the best.

From grosely_clerx, Why do people manufacture conflict that does nobody any good?

Because people watch too much TV, and so they assume that a constant state of drama is the default mode of existence. They think there's something wrong with their lives if they aren't either at the center or at the periphery of some sort of crisis, no matter how small. This means that if life itself doesn't provide one, then (consciously or unconsciously) one gets manufactured. The manufactured conflict makes them feel like they matter, tho', so I guess it's doing somebody some good.
