Old and dear friend Dave points us to this fun little bit o' business.

The entire article is great, but I thought this part to be particularly brilliant --

Polar bears have no natural enemies in their frozen domain and regard all other living things, including humans, as potential meals.

Isn't that just the most beautiful thing you've ever heard?

That is lovely...but I might also argue untrue. Polar bears do have one natural enemy.

Killer Whales will bust through an ice sheet, grab a full grown polar bear in their mouths, and sink back under the water.

And anything that can eat an entire polar bear gets my official stamp of approval for animal badassery.

May I suggest Frank Frazetta's painting The Silver Warrior as an icon?
