You know, I had other stuff planned to do today. I don't think I'm going to worry about the majority of it. I do, however, think I need to grab a shower and find someone to go eat lunch with. Actually, I think I'll call Sarah and see if she wants to go look at wedding dresses.
I'm picking out the bridesmaid dresses for her wedding. Don't ask.
I wrote the following up last night. Enjoy.

This is mostly to test out the new setup. I may post it to my LiveJournal tomorrow, I may not.
So far it seems to be working out fairly well. It’s more comfortable than I thought it would be (tho I might lower this chair a bit more). This whole keyboard tray thing is working quite well, even tho I’ve never been a fan of them. I like the computer setup too, tho it clashes with my preferred asthetic of right angles. Everything is slanted inwards towards a point to the right of the desk, owing to the aforementioned keyboard tray being right justified as opposed to centered. So far it seems to be working out fairly well. Typing this up is a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be.
The cable I pulled seems to be working out well, at least for purposes of the TV signal. I had to fiddle with it for a bit, but I figured out what my problem was easily enough. The desk I bought seems solid, and it’s holding together well.
My speaker placement was about the only thing I was really worried about, but it appears to be perfect. There seems to be a bit too much reverb in the sound, but that might just be because I’m really, really hearing these speakers for the first time, because their angle and placement on the desk and the height of my new chair seem to have combined to put me perfectly in their sweet spot. As long as I’ve had these speakers, I don’t think I’ve ever managed to get that before.
I’m going to have to game a little, really put the setup through it’s paces. It occurs to me that I haven’t played Unreal Tournament in way too long.
Current Mood: Far too satisfied with myself , considering how little I’ve actually accomplished
Current Music: Complicated – Avril Lavigne; yeah, I know I called her a no-talent ass clown, but it really is a pretty catchy song.
